Organic Integrity

All of our products are comprised of 99-100% certified organic ingredients. The organic ingredient percentages for all products are listed on the front of all labels. Product ingredients are clearly listed on all containers as well as beside each product description on our website. We do not use any synthetic preservatives, emulsifiers, additives, or fillers. We only work with sustainable USDA certified organic ingredient suppliers and source our products from local organic companies when possible.


Toxic-Free

We are committed to developing toxic-free products.  All 33 products in three product lines were reviewed by the Environmental Working Group’s Skin Deep database and all of our products received “zero” toxicity ratings-the best possible rating in the  Skin Deep Database.   Skin Deep tests cosmetic and personal care products for a variety of toxins including, phthalates, formaldehyde, petroleum and silicone derivatives, artificial fragrances, dyes, and an array of other chemicals and toxins.  Naturity is committed to formulating toxic-free products and will continue to do so in the future.


Cruelty-Free

As part of our business philosophy of living consciously, we consider animals to be integral components in the life process on Earth.  We care about how our ingredients and our products affect all the inhabitants of the planet including animals.  We are a certified cruelty-free partner of The Leaping Bunny Program, which not only certifies that the manufacturers are cruelty free but also the ingredient suppliers as well.


Sustainable Business Practices
 
Naturity is committed to the preservation of our planet and incorporates sustainable business practices to support that commitment.

  • Glass and tin product containers – we use glass and tin rather than plastic containers.  In addition, our massage oil bottles for all three product lines are comprised of 40% post-consumer recycled glass.

  • Minimal packaging – you will never find our products contained in pretty boxes or additional packaging which creates unnecessary waste.

  • Eco-friendly gift packaging- our gift baskets are contained in metal, bamboo baskets, or recycled paperboard boxes.  They are filled with recycled paper shred.

  • Green shipping supplies – we ship orders in recycled paper boxes and use biodegradable packaging peanuts.

  • Locally sourced ingredients- when  available, we source our ingredients locally.

  • Retailers with similar values- we only allow our products to be sold by retailers that have similar values organics, eco-friendly, sustainable, and socially responsible.  

 
Eco-conscious Initiatives

In line with our commitment to the preservation of the planet, we create eco-conscious initiatives that engage both our company and our customers to support our commitment. We believe that we can provide quality products while making decisions that minimize the damage to our planet.  In fact, we believe there are programs we can instill to help support the planet.

  • Plant & Green™- our tree planting program thorough our partnership with the New Jersey Tree Foundation helps keep the state of New Jersey green.  For every order placed, we will purchase a tree to be planted by the foundation. We chose the New Jersey Tree Foundation as a partner because they are a grassroots organization with a big emphasis on educating our youth, which we feel is the future of our planet.

  • Recycle Naturity™ - our reuse program, which invites customers to recycle their empty product containers.  For every five products returned to us, we’ll email a $15 gift certificate for use toward the purchase of any of our products.  A Recycle Naturity™ reminder is printed on the bottom of every invoice and packaging slip.  

  • Emailing Gift Certificates – We prefer to email gift certificates rather than snail mail them. It saves on gas, postage, carbon emissions, and helps reduce the ecological footprint of both our customers and our company.

These are the Naturity core values and we consider them when making all business decisions. By aligning our corporate initiatives with our core values, we can actively support the needs of our customers, vendors, and partners while maintaining our integrity and positively impacting our planet.
